We’re glad to announce a major redesign on Browserbite, that is just the first step on a long road to improve the usabilty features on our site.
We moved to Bootstrap 3 as a basis for the new approach and nearly completely dropped the old style sheets. We decided to keep function over form, so that we’re able to focus on the core of the application over bells-and-whistles design. On top of that we are planning a new skin for the app! Overall – the new look should give more straightforward feedback where your issues are located so that you can drill in.
New issue detail view
Existing users will notice that there is a new issue detail view. After doing some usability experiments, we tweaked the old views together making it hopefully easier for you to analyse the root cause for layout differences. When you hover on the detected issue the reference browser will be displayed. Use the opacity slider to move in and out. Also – navigating between browsers is now easier with dropdown selector.
We’ll be working hard to make Browserbite even better over the next weeks and making everything ready for a full responsive testing experience. We appreciate your feedback! The feedback button is still in the familiar place – we are happy if you use it!.
Go ahead and try it yourself!
